Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Hotel was clean and furniture was new and in great shape.
Breakfast was delicious.
Bed was comfortable. We especially appreciated the soft, fluffy blanket on the bed. We've noticed a lot of hotels skimping on blankets with thin/rough blankets. Not here, though! We had a great night's sleep which is exactly what we look for in a hotel.
The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, even the pull out sofa bed was comfortable. It was quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar attendant was very nice and she kept everything stocked and fresh. Best sleep I have had while on the road for several weeks!
Even during a renovation, this hotel was so clean. Out room especially. So many pillows (both soft AND firm). The sheets were very crispy and very clean. We had a really great experience. Our stay was limited by sleep, naturally, but we …
I don't stay in a ridiculous amount of hotels, but more than others. This particular Holiday Inn Express was the best stay I have to date. Staff were friendly, housekeeping was perfect, facility was immaculate, pool was clean, and no unexpected surprises. Well worth checking out if you are in the region!
Unfortunately, too many little things added up. The main disappointment was the pool. It was freezing, and half of the windows were open/broken so all of the outside air was coming in. The hot tub was room temperature as well. The pool area had dirty towels lying around and no fresh towels. When we got to our room there was an empty chip bag on the floor, as well as a couple of hairs in the bed. Also, the toilet paper roll is SO low to the ground my kids couldn't even reach it, and there was no way to get the toilet paper off. Breakfast was good, but it took 20 minutes to get someone to turn on the juice machine. Too many small inconveniences for the price.
Had water issues in room. Front desk contacted maintenance and resolved issue the best they could until next day. I prefer not to change room and everything was handled in a way that I didn't have to pack up and move. THANK YOU to all off the wonderful IHG employees for their help! Definitely recommend and will stay again on my next trip.
Rooms were fine but definitely disappointed with the infrastructure. Was snowing outside and the room heater couldn’t maintain above 67-68 degrees no matter how high it was set. A little chilly. Also the pool was freezing and the hot tub was basically room temperature. Traveling with kids this was a major letdown. Asked at the desk if they could try and turn up the heaters and were told they didn’t know how. Not a terrible place per se but will definitely find a different place to stay on my next trip down I-70. Should point out it was basically the most expensive place in town so we figured it would also be the nicest.
BRITTANY!! We had just come from Wyoming, moving a house load to missouri. Everyone was ready to get some rest, it was midnight. We stopped at the days inn, a few doors down, and they disappointed us with roaches. I called holiday inn, and Brittany saved the day. She was sweet, attentive, and professional. I would recommend this hotel to absolutely everyone that drives through Kansas. Brittany deserves a raise!! She checked a room out for us and it let us rest easy. I would come back just because of Brittany alone. The hotel was really nice too. The hotel breakfast served omelettes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and so much more. Great stop!! Thanks Brittany!!!
